Ko Sarah Morris tōku ingoa

Portrait of a woman with short, curly brown hair, wearing clear glasses, large wooden earrings with words "BRAVE" and "XIA MALAI," a green blazer, and a patterned top, smiling against a plain white background.

He awa whiria ahau. I identify as a braided river, the descendant of ancestors from Ireland, Scotland, Poland and the Ngāpuhi iwi of Te Tai Tokerau in Aotearoa New Zealand. I grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, alongside the Manukau Harbour. I now call Te Awa Kairangi Lower Hutt home where Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Toa and Taranaki Whānui are mana whenua.

Kaupapa and values-driven, I bring intellect and integrity to work that contributes to equitable and sustainable social and systems change.
